HRVSpark does not send your health data anywhere except between your own iPhone and Apple Watch, and it keeps no personal data on external servers. The one exception is the optional supporter thank-you below, which sends a purchase record only when you ask for a code.
With your permission, HRVSpark reads Heart Rate Variability (HRV) readings from Apple Health. It uses them only to show your readings and their averages on your watch face and in the app. HRVSpark does not write to Apple Health, and it never shares HRV data with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.
HRVSpark keeps the values it shows on your iPhone and Apple Watch. These include recent readings and daily averages. They move between your iPhone and Apple Watch only through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.
HRVSpark uses Apple's StoreKit for the optional Pro unlock and the tip jar. Apple handles every purchase, and HRVSpark never sees or stores payment information. HRVSpark checks your purchase history on your device to unlock Pro and to see whether you qualify for the supporter thank-you.
From time to time, HRVSpark may offer a free one-time RHRSpark Pro code to people who bought HRVSpark Pro or left a tip. Nothing is sent unless you tap Get My RHRSpark Pro Code. When you do, HRVSpark sends Apple's signed record of that purchase to filamentlabs.io. The record describes the purchase, including the product, the purchase date, the price, and the App Store country. It contains no health data, and it does not contain your name or your Apple Account.
The server checks Apple's signature and issues one code for that purchase. It keeps only a one-way, keyed hash of the purchase identifier, the code it issued, and the time, so the same purchase receives the same code again. It does not keep the purchase record. Cloudflare hosts filamentlabs.io and processes the request. You redeem the code with Apple on the App Store.
HRVSpark contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking code, and it sends no telemetry.
HRVSpark contacts only filamentlabs.io. It downloads a small configuration file for current product messages, and that request contains no health data or account information. If you ask for a supporter thank-you code, HRVSpark also sends the purchase record described above.
