Codex Process Jobs
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Local processing
Codex Process Jobs runs on the user's macOS or Linux machine. Job metadata, status, and bounded logs are stored locally under the user's Codex home. CPJ does not operate a hosted job service and does not send process output, job records, or usage telemetry to Filament Labs.
Codex and third-party services
When Codex inspects a saved result, the selected bounded output may be processed by OpenAI under the user's account and applicable OpenAI terms. Commands launched by CPJ can access networks or third-party services when the user authorizes them; those services have their own privacy practices.
Environment and notifications
CPJ does not persist the launching process's environment. A launched command still receives its inherited environment and may use it. Sanitized completion notices contain validated job status information and do not include process output.
Website and support
These CPJ pages do not set cookies, use a contact form, or include client-side analytics. The hosting provider may process ordinary request metadata needed to deliver the pages. If a user contacts support or opens a GitHub issue, Filament Labs receives the information the user chooses to provide.
